Committed to Excellence
Since 1996, Gulf Coast Treatment Center, located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, has been providing intensive psychiatric treatment for girls and young women, ages 12 to 17, who are struggling with a wide range of mental and behavioral health issues. We provide a holistic healing environment for young women nationwide who need structure and support as they struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, substance abuse and other emotional challenges. As a licensed residential treatment facility, we provide a wide range of services to meet our residents’ physical, emotional and educational needs. Our board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, Dr. Alexander Adelsberger, leads our residents through a variety of treatment modalities that include group therapy, recreation therapy, and so much more. Our multidisciplinary clinical staff is committed to ensuring that our residents re-establish healthy behaviors that allow them to successfully transition back into the family, home, school, and community as soon as possible.
Service Excellence
Service Excellence is our pledge to provide exceptional service and care to our patients, their families, and all our partners and referral sources. All Gulf Coast Treatment Center employees receive training devoted to delivering high-quality care and customer service. Adhering to Service Excellence principles are part of each employee’s annual performance evaluation, and we consistently look for ways to improve year over year. Our Service Excellence Program encourages all employees to go above and beyond their daily duties to ensure residents and their families are receiving the care and attention they need. It applies to all employees, from physicians to housekeepers, from the CEO to the intern. As an organization, we promote a culture that acknowledges strong performance in patient care.
