Helping the Leaders of Tomorrow

Gulf Coast Youth Services
Gulf Coast Treatment Center, located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, is proud to provide intensive psychiatric residential treatment to girls and young women from across the country. Our facility is one of two treatment centers that make up Gulf Coast Youth Services

Gulf Coast Youth Services offers programs to troubled adolescent boys and adolescent girls dealing with chronic mental health issues. While our facility only works with girls and young women ages 12 to 17, our partner facility, Okaloosa Youth Academy, offers treatment for young men who are experiencing difficulty with emotional and behavioral issues.

More About Okaloosa Youth Academy

Okaloosa Youth Academy
Okaloosa Youth Academy, located in Crestview, Florida, is a certified juvenile justice residential facility for males exhibiting behavioral problems as a result of emotional or mental health issues. Its mission is to reduce juvenile delinquency in Florida through effective prevention, intervention, and treatment services that strengthen families and turn around the lives of at-risk boys and young men. Okaloosa uses the Balanced Approach to Restorative Justice (BARJ) philosophy and treatment approach to identify the harm the youth has inflicted on victims and communities so they can focus on learning empathy and repairing harm. The programming utilizes a mix of therapy modalities and educational approaches to offer restorative care and justice to these young men in crisis and inspire lifelong behavioral changes that lead to better outcomes for them and their families.
