Gulf Coast Treatment Center is committed to helping girls and young women get the mental health treatment they need to be successful at home, in school, and in their communities. We accept referrals from parents and family members, health professionals, schools, physicians, and mental health providers from the community. Our facility is located in Florida, but we accept referrals and patients from across the country. 

Admissions are conducted Monday through Friday, but special arrangements can be made on a case by case basis for weekends if necessary. We accept private insurance with residential treatment benefits in addition to managed-care Medicaid. If you have questions or concerns about coverage and paying for treatment, please contact us to discuss your needs with our team. 

When making a referral, please have the following information available to facilitate the admission process:

  • Psychiatric evaluation (within the past year)
  • Presenting problems and history of treatment
  • Clinical records
  • Medical and immunization records
  • Psychological history
  • Medical, medication and dental History
  • School records
  • Insurance information

Take the First Step

Our staff is available from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to provide a no-cost, mental health assessment for your child or patient. In the case of a medical emergency or crisis, please dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
